On November 16, Infiniti unveiled its 3.0t Sport for the all-new Q60 (the next-generation Nissan Skyline Coupe) at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show in the US.
The new Q60 was introduced in January at the 2016 North American International Auto Show. Compared with the previous Q60, the new model offers a more emotional design. For its details for the front end and other sections, the all-new Q60 was inspired by the Q80 Inspiration, a concept showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in September 2014.
The new Q60 features a newly designed double-arch front grille and crescent-shaped C-pillars. It also comes with LED headlights, 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and Infiniti’s first 20-inch wheels as an option. In addition, it offers an outstanding drag coefficient of 0.28 thanks to its aerodynamically efficient design.
Moreover, the new Q60 features Infiniti’s second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering and its new Dynamic Digital Suspension, on select trims, for improved handling.
The recently unveiled 3.0t Sport comes loaded with a direct injection 3.0-liter VR30 DDTT V6 twin turbo gasoline engine that generates 300hp of maximum output and 40.8kgm of maximum torque. This is 100hp and 7.6kgm less than the Red Sport 400, the top-of-the-line trim for the Q60.
