The 2016 SEMA Show, held in early November, featured the unveiling of the Gumout GT 4586.
This project was launched at the end of July 2016 for professional drifter Ryan Tuerck. The Gumout GT 4586 features a daring V8 Ferrari engine on its Toyota 86 body.
This V8 gasoline engine is the same unit loaded on Ferrari’s 458 Italia. The 458 Italia features a direct injection 4.5-liter V8 gasoline mid-ship engine that generates 570ps/9,000rpm of maximum output and 55.1kgm/6,000rpm of maximum torque. It offers the finest performance in the world as it produces speeds of up to 325km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds.
This engine replaces the 2.0-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder unit on the Toyota 86. The “4586†for its model name is a combination of the Ferrari “458†and the Toyota “86.â€
The Ferrari engine on the recently unveiled Gumout GT 4586 caught the eyes of all observers, as its Toyota 86 body did not come with a front hood. It also featured exhaust pipes on both sides of the front bumper.
