On October 27, Mazda announced that it will unveil the new CX-5 at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, which opens its doors on November 16.
The current model made its world premiere in November, 2011, at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show as an SUV for the global C segment.
The significantly improved version made its debut at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show in November, 2014. The new CX-5 is the 2nd generation model.
Mazda says that the design and technology of the new model have been refined to offer an excellent driving experience. The exterior, it says, takes the “kodo” design concept to a whole other level.
Mazda has released only one teaser image of the new CX-5.
