Fuji Heavy Industries announced the addition of the GT to the Subaru BRZ lineup, and will release this top-of-the-line trim on November 7.
The BRZ is a lightweight sports car that features “ultra- low center of gravity packaging†through its front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout and horizontally opposed boxer engine. By undergoing a significant upgrade in July, it now offers enhanced driving performance through improved capabilities from the power unit down to the chassis.
The soon-to-be-released GT represents the BRZ’s advancement toward greater driving performance and stylishness. It also offers improved stability and handling with the addition of ZF SACHS dampers, Brembo brakes and exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels.
The BRZ GT is priced at 3,315,600 yen for the six-speed manual transmission and 3,375,000 yen for the E-6AT model.
Moreover, for the BRZ GT Yellow Edition, Subaru is no longer accepting reservations (began on July 7) as all 100 limited units have been sold.
