Lexus has announced its final engine specs for the North American version of the all-new Lexus LC500.
This announcement concerning its 5.0-liter V8 gasoline engine was made by Lexus LC chief engineer Koji Sato on August 19 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The LC500 was unveiled this January at the 2016 North American International Auto Show. Its 5.0 V8 gasoline engine is the same unit featured on the RC F and GS F.
The North American model was initially said to generate 467hp/7,100rpm of maximum output and 53.8kgm/4,800rpm of maximum torque. According to the final specs, Lexus’ new luxury coupe will produce 471hp of maximum output (a 4hp increase from its initial specs) and 55kgm of maximum torque (a 1.2kgm increase).
Lexus explained that these changes are the result of new upgrades to the LC500.
