In early August, Infiniti announced its price for the Q30 for the US market.
The Q30 is the Infiniti brandâ€™s first-ever compact car. It was developed to compete in the same segment as the Audi A3, BMW 1 Series, Mercedes-Benz A Class and the Lexus CT.
The European model comes available in three types of gasoline and two types of diesel engines. The gasoline lineup is led by a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder turbo unit (w/ 211ps of maximum output) and also includes a 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder turbo system that offers a standard type (122ps of maximum output) and a high-performance version (156ps of maximum output).
The diesel lineup consists of 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder turbo (109ps of maximum output) and 2.2-liter inline four-cylinder turbo (170ps of maximum output) systems. These five engines, including its specifications, are in line with the Mercedes-Benz A Class.
Infiniti announced that its base price for the Q30 is 29,950 USD (approx. 3 million yen). Infiniti Americasâ€™ Vice President, Randy Parker said, â€œThe Q30 is the perfect car for any driving condition from urban to rural areas and winding roads.â€
