In mid-June, Subaru of America announced that it will establish the Series Yellow for their 2017 version of the BRZ.
The 2017 BRZ features the model’s first true makeover since its debut. The exterior offers a newly designed bumper with LED headlights and taillights. The interior has been redesigned with a new steering wheel and meter that consists of a 4.2-inch information monitor.
The direct-injection 2.0-liter horizontally-opposed four-cylinder gasoline engine features new valves and camshaft, cylinder head and aluminum intake manifold, along with an updated exhaust manifold. In terms of the six-speed manual transmission model, along with 21.6kgm of maximum torque, the maximum output has been enhanced by 5hp to 205hp, and offers greater acceleration as it comes standardized with Torsen LSD.
The recently launched Series Yellow is a special edition model for the 2017 BRZ, limited to 500 units. The aluminum alloy wheels and side mirrors come with black finish to complement its Brilliant Yellow exterior. The black leather and Alcantara upholstery features yellow stitching all around.
Moreover, it comes standardized with a Performance Package, which includes Brembo brakes and Sachs shock absorbers.
