New Honda Civic chosen as one of 2016’s 10 Best Interiors by Ward’s AutoWorld

Honda has announced that the new Civic was chosen as one of the 10 Best Interiors Of 2016 by Ward’s AutoWorld Magazine.

This is the only award for car interiors in the United States. Editors choose from among new and upgraded models from 2015 for what they consider the best interiors.

The criteria include design, comfort, information display ease-of-use, quality and safety. The magazine’s Engine Of The Year award, which is also announced each year, is referred to as the “Engine Oscars.”

The new Honda Civic, which is the sedan version’s 10th generation, was released in September, 2015. The new model was given a design makeover to offer the sportiness that’s the essence of the Civic, including its design, performance, fuel economy and safety. The company aims to set a new benchmark for compact cars.

While aiming for the best comfort and quality in its class, it also has the most space. It has more capacity than the existing model and a trunk space with wider openings to improve its usability. It uses engine room soundproofing, three layers of door seals and soundproofed glass to reduce noise.
