Nissan unveiled the new 3rd generation Tiida at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show. It is the new Pulsar, which Nissan released in fall 2014 in Europe, but repackaged for the Chinese market.
The new Tiida has a design aimed at young drivers in China with features such as its dynamic V-Motion grille. Compared to the Pulsar, it also has improvements to the engine, transmission and safety features. The interior is more spacious and comfortable.
The power train is a 1.6L in-line 4-cylinder HR16DE gasoline engine that operates with an improved Xtronic CVT and idling stop system that gets 18.9km/L.
