Mitsubishi RVR GEOSEEK Concept

2016 Geneva Motor Show: RVR and Triton concept cars highlight the outdoor adventurous side of Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation unveiled the L200 GEOSEEK and the ASX GEOSEEK concepts at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show held in Switzerland from March 1.

These concepts cars were based on the L200 big pickup truck and the ASX, which are badged as Triton and RVR in Japan respectively. Their SUV-ness have been further emphasized, and they have also been outfitted with outdoor accessories that will look perfect for outdoor activities.

The solid tone pearl grey body finish expresses the toughness of these models. The fog lamp bezels, fender lips, alloy wheel rims, side garnish, tailgate spoiler, rear bumper, and the door mirrors are accented with a vibrant orange color to depict an active image.

Furthermore, the front grille has a mesh inner grille, while the lower part of the front bumper sports a skid plate. To produce that active look, both models have a roof basket for carrying bicycles and camping gear. The Triton concept has working lights and hand holds fitted to the roof rails, while the RVR concept uses LED fog lamps. Their individual personalities are further emphasized with these items.

The interior features black trim accented with the same orange color of the exterior that depicts an active lifestyle. The center of the seats uses a high-quality suede-like material with distinctive embossing. Meanwhile, the side portion adopts excellent synthetic leather materials that aid temperature control. Mitsubishi says, “The interior presents a casual and sporty image that matches outdoor gears.”
