Nissan North America unveiled the all-new Armada at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show on February 11.
Nissan launched the Armada in 2003. A full-size SUV for the North American market, it was developed based on the chassis of the Titan, Nissan’s large pickup truck.
This time, the all-new, second-generation Armada has been debuted at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. The Patrol, a large SUV being sold in the Middle Eastern markets, will be released in the United States as the all-new Armada.
There are few differences between the all-new Armada and the Patrol. One example is that the all-new Armada adopts the Armada’s exclusive front grille design. The Patrol sports a chrome-plated grille, but the all-new Armada features a black one.
The all-new Armada is mounted with a 5.6L V8 gasoline engine, the same powertrain as the Patrol, which produces a maximum output of 390hp. The engine is mated to a seven-speed AT.
