Hobio Flex Concept at 2016 Camping Car Show

2016 Camping Car Show: Honda’s flexible Hobio Flex Concept

Honda displayed the Hobio Flex Concept at the 2016 Japan Camping Car Show, which was held at Chiba’s Makuhari Messe from February 11 to 14.

Based on the Vamos Hobio, the Hobio Flex Concept is designed to meet the needs of work and leisure all in one model.

The Vamos Hobio offers a wide range of features that allow users to arrange the cargo space however they’d like, such as its Utility Nut, which can be affixed to the body without any extra construction, and the Tie-Down Hook for holding down cargo. Users can create their own style by putting together attachments, pipes, racks and so forth.

The concept version has a yellow and black body color with a mud-like texture that gives it a heavy duty image. The interior’s flooring gives it a slightly wood deck-like appearance when viewed from the opened rear hatch.

The interior has enough space for two adults to sleep. The roof carrier also offers a great deal of space. The concept model has the company’s E500 electrical storage device that can supply up to 500W of energy.
