Mazda started selling the improved compact SUV CX-3 on December 24, 2015.
The updates this time include the improvement of the torque at low RPM through the adoption of DE Precision Boost Control, which gives the car a linear accelerator response through precise engine control when travelling on light load range.
In addition to the Natural Sound Smoother added as standard equipment on all cars to suppress the knocking sound of the engine, the CX-3 also improved its quietness by the modified front door glass plate thickness. While improving its steering stability, Mazda has pursued a more excellent ride quality by precisely tuning the CX-3’s electric power steering characteristics, the structure of its front and rear damper, and the front stabilizer.
Furthermore, the XD Touring Package now has a chic black leather interior package. The adoption of perforated leather and lux suede seat upholstery gives the CX-3 a stylish cabin space.
The CX-3 costs 2.376 million yen to 3.024 million yen.
