Nissan Motor Company’s all-new Q60 Sport Coupe, currently under development, will soon be launched.
Nissan’s luxury brand, Infiniti announced that it will unveil the new Q60 Sport Coupe (the all-new Nissan Skyline Coupe, in Japan) at the 2016 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), which begins on January 11 in the US.
Infiniti showcased the Q60 Concept in January 2015 at last year’s NAIAS. This concept was a preview of the soon-to-be-unveiled Q60 Sport Coupe.
The Q60 Concept features a more emotional design compared to the current Skyline Coupe. The details for the front end and other sections were inspired by the Q80 Inspiration, a concept car exhibited at the Paris Motor Show in September 2014.
The all-new Q60 Sport Coupe is scheduled for release as a 2017 model in the US between the summer and fall of this year. Similar to the 2016 Q50 Sedan (the Nissan Skyline, in Japan), which will also be unveiled at the 2016 NAIAS, there is a good chance that the Q60 Sport Coupe will be equipped with a new direct injection 3.0-liter V6 gasoline twin turbo engine (400hp of maximum output and 48.4kgm of maximum torque).
