Suzuki will release the 5MT model and the exclusively tuned new Alto Works kei car on December 24.
Based on the Alto Turbo RS, the new Alto Works is a kei sports car that pursues improved driving performance. It gets an exclusively developed short-stroke five-speed manual transmission or an exclusively tuned five-speed AGS. It outputs a maximum of 64ps just like its base model, but it produces a higher torque of 100Nm because of the turbo engine, thereby delivering powerful acceleration.
Because it adopts the highly rigid body of the Alto Turbo RS, stiff suspension settings, and the excellent holding performance of the exclusive Recaro seats, it certainly makes it easier to steer and drive.
Its design boosts that “prospect” driving. It adopts a sporty interior in black tone. Meanwhile, the exterior features the “WORKS” logo placed on the front bumper upper garnish and on the side body decal, the red front brake calipers, and the black wheels, thus tightening the appearance of the car.
The 2WD version of the 5MT and the 5AGS cost 1,509,840 yen, while the 4WD version costs 1,617,840 yen.
