2016 Tokyo Auto Salon: Subaru to unveil STI Performance Concept in Japan

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI) and Subaru Tecnica International Inc. (STI) will hold a joint exhibit at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon to be held from January 15 to 17 at Makuhari Messe where the STI Performance Concept will be debuted in Japan.

The STI Performance Concept represents STI’s businesses in aftermarket parts, complete car, and motorsports. It features STI suspension, brakes, and interior/exterior components, embodying STI’s aftermarket parts and complete car businesses. Moreover, the STI Performance Concept exemplifies STI’s motorsports activities as it comes equipped with an EJ20 horizontally opposed 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine for Super GT racing.

In addition, the exhibit will include the Levorg STI Concept, which combines the joy of driving with an enhanced feeling of genuine quality that expands possibilities for the STI brand. It will also feature the XV Hybrid Concept, a hybrid model that incorporates the global outlook of the STI brand and represents its renewed attraction.

Also on display will be the WRX STI NBR Challenge 2016, which will compete at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring in 2016, and the Subaru BRZ GT300 2016 for the Super GT.
