Mugen will exhibit 4-wheel and motor sports racing cars that offer various customization options at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon, which will be held from January 15 to 17 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Mugen’s concept for 2016 is “Mugen Power.” It plans to unveil an S660 completely done by Mugen, the Honda S660 Mugen RA Prototype, and a special limited edition Mugen Civic Type R Concept made especially for the Auto Salon.
The S660 Mugen RA Prototype is a basic custom sports model based on the S660. It’s the prototype for the S660 Mugen complete car and offers even more advanced performance and premium feel.
The Mugen Civic Type R Concept is a concept model designed for all types of performance based on the Type R. Born out of Mugen’s motorsports know-how, it’s equipped with features and aero parts developed through multiple wind tunnel experiments.
In addition to Mugen’s 2015 Honda S660 Step Wagon Spada and Vezel, it will also display two Team Mugen motorsports machines, an SF14 that raced in the 2015 Super Formula Series and the Shinden San, an electric motorcycle it raced at the Isle of Man TT race.
