Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a genuine off-road SUV that has been developed under the theme “stylish and comfortable off-road SUV.” Starting with Thailand, it will be sold throughout the world in about 90 countries, including the regions of Australia, ASEAN, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Russia.
While it shares the components of the all-new Triton pickup truck, the Pajero Sport features an interior and exterior that are equal to a high grade European SUV. It’s a midsize new-generation SUV that combines high quality design, excellent performance, comfortable cabin, best-in-class environmental performance, and advanced preventive safety equipment.
For its exterior, Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield design language has been introduced to the front mask. The interior adopts a suitable high console proportion to an upper grade SUV and it pursues a sense of luxury through dynamic silver embellishments and seats that seemingly have three-dimensional shape.
The engine is Pajero Sport’s first 2.4-liter series four-cylinder MIVEC turbo diesel engine. It is mated to an 8-speed AT, a first for a Mitsubishi car. The Pajero Sport is mounted with Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD-2 system, has an off-road control that enhances drivability and stability on off-roads, and has a hill descent control, making it possible for one to drive it in any type of driving environment. Furthermore, the fuel consumption was improved by 17%, compared to the previous model’s.
Its overall length, width, and height are 4785mm, 1815mm, and 1800mm respectively; its wheelbase is 2800mm. It features a comfortable cabin because the head clearance has been altered. Furthermore, it has a legroom of 2585mm, giving passengers a comfortable cabin even when sitting in the third row.
