Mitsubishi brought out the upgraded Mirage compact at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2015 in Bangkok on December 1. One standout design feature was a total makeover of the front mask to make it, as the company says, more stylish.
Design touches meant to give it a stronger presence and sense of class include LEDs added to headlamps, front bumper combined with grille, and newly designed hood. LEDs have also been added to the rear combination lamps. Changes to the spoiler and rear bumper give it a whole new look. The addition of 15-inch aluminum wheels gives it a boost in terms of sportiness.
On the more practical side, a new cargo space has been added to make it easier to use.
Safety has also been given a boost. It’s the first Thai compact model to have low-speed collision avoidance brakes and a feature that prevents accidental acceleration.
It has been revealed that the model will appear in Japan in the middle of January.
