About 3 months after unveiling the prototype, Honda has made the world premiere of the mass market version of the BR-V at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2015.
The BR-V has an SUV-like exterior and handling, and the spacious interior of a next-gen crossover utility vehicle with 3 rows of seats. The power train is a 1.5L i-VTEC engine and a new 6-speed MT with CVT. It gets 120hp/6600rpm and 145Nm/4600rpm of torque.
The BR-V will be assembled at P. T. Honda Prospect Motor’s 2nd plant in Karawang, Indonesia, starting January 2016. There are also plans to build it in Thailand.
