Toyota S-FR Racing Concept

2016 Tokyo Auto Salon: Toyota to exhibit racing version of the S-FR

Toyota Motor Corporation will be displaying the racing version of the S-FR Concept, which had been displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show, at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon to be held in Makuhari Messe from January 15 to 17, 2016.

In addition to over fenders and the engine hood that has a bold air outlet, the S-FR Racing Concept adopts large aero parts made from carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP), such as the front under spoilers, canards, and rear spoilers. The pursuit of the design is to achieve a high performance at the circuit. The S-FR Racing Concept has the simple styling of the S-FR, except that it delivers a sportier look, giving a new perspective to the S-FR.

Toyota will also display the Voxy G’s and Noah G’s Concepts, minivans that propose a new sporty minivan. These minivans won’t let you feel that they are minivans. They both balance a comfortable and excellent ride while pursuing the pleasure of riding and driving. Furthermore, the sporty and unique appearance of the minivan and the indoor space uplifts the driving feeling.

Other exhibits include the 24 Hours Nürburgring machines from 2007, the 2015 World Endurance Championship machine, and the All-Japan Rally Championship machines.
