On December 1, Toyota Motor Europe (TME) revealed the details of the new ProAce, which is set for an appearance at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March.
In July 2012, Toyota and PSA Peugeot Citroën entered into an OEM agreement for PSA compact commercial vehicles in Europe.
Following this agreement, in the middle of 2013, Toyota released the ProAce, a rebadged version of the Peugeot Expert and Citroën Jumpy.
The new ProAce is its 2nd generation model. This will also be an OEM model and will be built at PSA’s plant in France’s Valenciennes.
In addition to the Toyota emblem at the front and back, the new model will also have a different front bumper, grille and headlight design from the PSA models. There will be both a commercial and passenger version of the new ProAce.
