Lexus RX450h at 2015 Tokyo Motor Show

2015 Tokyo Motor Show: Show Car Library – Lexus displays RX450h that gets 18.8km/L

Lexus has given the RX crossover model a full model change and the new version was unveiled on October 22. The RX450h hybrid model was on display at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

The new RX is the 4th generation model. The design concept was that while it’s still the RX, it’s even more than the RX Lexus fans know. Further improvements have been made to the qualities the RX is known for, like the presence of its exterior and its comfortable handling.

The body is 4890mm long, 1895mm wide and 1710mm tall with a 2790mm wheelbase. This makes it 120mm longer than the existing model with 50mm added to the wheelbase. It has an imposing exterior and a plenty of interior space.

The RX450h has a hybrid system that combines a motor and a V6 3.5L engine. Using the latest technology such as cylinder heads that help with exhaust cooling, the new RX combines improvements to performance with an improved fuel economy of 18.8km/L JC08 mode).
