Isuzu displayed the full-sized highway bus version of the Ertiga at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The Ertiga highway bus was unveiled on August 18.
This is the Ertiga’s first full model change in 15 years. With a style that’s clean and simple, it has a new exterior design. The length, width and space of the non-step area, as well as the rear second story space have been widened to make it more spacious.
In addition, safety improvements to the priority seat area and the addition of a non-rolling slope make it easier and quicker for passengers in wheelchairs. Features like its winding-style belt which make it easier to hold wheelchair passengers make it even more convenient.
The engine is a lightweight compact 250 horsepower 4HK1-TCS diesel engine. The new model has improved environmental efficiency and fuel economy through its use of high efficiency turbo, after-treatment DPD for emissions and urea selective catalytic reduction (SCR).
There is an AMT (automatic clutch manual transmission) and AT version. The bus is designed so that even those without much driving experience can handle it easily.
The price for the QRG-LV290N1 with 6-speed AMT is 26,099,280 yen.
