Lexus has released its overseas flagship SUV the LX570 in Japan. Already on sale in North America, the Middle East and Russia, this model is the 3rd generation model. This is the second time it has undergone major changes.

The new LX is a luxury SUV with its roots in the Toyota Land Cruiser. It offers a powerful driving performance and the luxury interior that the Lexus brand is known for.

The new version includes a number of advanced safety systems. Pre-Crash Safety is a collision avoidance system with a warning that alerts the driver of nearby pedestrians. It also has the Lane Departure Alert, Adaptive High Beam System and Radar Cruise Control features.

As far as design goes, the Lexus spindle grille has received a touch-up. In addition to LED headlights, it’s the first Lexus to use sequential turn signal lamps. It has a front face befitting a true SUV and there’s a 21-inch aluminum wheel option.

The powertrain is a 5.7L V8 3UR-FE engine that puts out 377ps/5600rpm and offers 54.5kgm/3200rpm torque. It’s a full 4WD and has 8-speed automatic transmission. The fuel tank is 93 liters. It’s 5065mm long, 1980mm wide and 1910mm tall with a 2850mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is 225mm and vehicle weight is 2720mm.

The price is 11,000,000 yen.
