Suzuki unveiled its new concept minicar Mighty Deck at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

With its canvas top and open deck (roof rack) that can be repositioned for diverse purposes, the Mighty Deck is a new kei car that can be used for leisure. The styling is said to be a return of 1980’s light pickup Mighty Boy, and
it can be used to accommodate different lifestyles and situations—from daily life to leisure activities.

The wood deck of the cargo compartment may be freely used as a table or partition. The rear seats can be flipped up to accommodate four people or be folded down to create an extended space for lengthy items.

The interior’s base color is dark blue and it’s a combination of aluminum and woodgrain elements. The long horizontal panel that extends across the bottom of the windshield displays the road navigation details, as well as graphically displays map information, weather, and vehicle details. Furthermore, it is said that it can be linked to social networking sites (SNS) and it allows you to send and receive messages.

Its overall length, height, and width are 3395mm, 1540mm, and 1475mm respectively. Its powertrain is a 658cm3 in-line three-cylinder intercooled turbo engine with S-ENE CHARGE mated to a 5AGS transmission.
