Displayed in the Honda booth, the facelifted versions of the NC750X and the 400X had its world premiere. Both models are sports models developed based on the “Crossover Concept,” fusing on-road and off-road advantages.
The updated appearance includes all-LED head-lights and tail-lights, and it has adopted a new windscreen with excellent wind protection effect.
Honda Motorcycle Japan Planning Department Product Planning Division Seiki Takikawa appeals that the high-speed cruising now feels more comfortable and the storage capacity in the 750X was also increased.
Compared with the previous model, the windscreen of NC750X is 70mm taller and the 400X is approximately 100mm taller, reducing the fatigue at high speeds.
The previous generation NC750X utilizes the position of its fuel tank for storage space, giving it a 21-liter fuel tank capacity. Meanwhile, the all-new model features a 22-liter fuel tank capacity
In addition, Takikawa added, “It is also a big advantage, to improve the ride quality.” The front fork adopts dual-bending valves that optimize linear compression and decompression damping characteristics. The rear cushions are newly equipped with preload adjuster.
