2015 Tokyo Motor Show: Show Car Library – Honda Wonder Stand 2-passenger mobility vehicle offers automatic driving

Honda made the world premiere of its Wonder Stand Concept 2-passenger mobility vehicle at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

The Wonder Stand Concept has a compact body that’s 2 meters long, 1.25 meters wide and 1.85 meters tall, allowing two people to ride it next to each other. It uses the same omni wheels as the Uni-Cubβuses which allow it to move front and back, side to side and diagonally. This gives it a special type of handling that existing 4-wheel vehicles don’t offer.

The seat and floor are both red in color, and the seat upholstery is by Kyoto Nishijin and offers maximum comfort.

The Wonder Stand Concept has an automatic driving mode which allows riders to enjoy using it to move around. Honda’s press department says, “Honda hasn’t mentioned automatic driving a great deal for a long time, but now automatic driving is a reality and we want it to win over our users.”
