On October 28, Lexus unveiled its LF-FC Concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
The LF-FC was designed as Lexus’ flagship car of the future. The “LF†label on Lexus’ concept cars stands for “Lexus Futureâ€, while the “FC†stands for “fuel cellâ€.
The fuel-cell system, a high output FC stack and power control unit, is located inside the engine compartment. With a T-shaped hydrogen tank, the LF-FC features optimal weight distribution at the front and back that assures exceptional steering responsiveness.
The LF-FC mainly operates on rear-wheel drive and the front wheels are controlled by a 4WD system featuring a lightweight, high-output in-wheel motor. It offers exceptional security and stability through its thorough system on the front and rear wheels.
