Daihatsu exhibited four kei cars for their world premiere, including the Noriori, which has a very low flooring and huge two-way doors, and the Tempo, a new type of commercial vehicle that has ample space.
Daihatsu’s theme for this exhibition is, “Possible! Do the things you can in the near future with Daihatsu,” which suggests the pursuing of new possibilities in kei cars. At the press conference on October 28, Daihatsu President Masanori Mitsui said regarding the Noriori, “This kei car aims to provide easy access for embarking and disembarking, as well as serve as a multi-purpose commuter for the near future.”
Further, he said regarding the Tempo, “It has the same FF structure with the automobile, but this commercial vehicle was produced to make traveling easy for people who aren’t used to commuting.” It has the same platform with the Wake, which has a huge interior space, so it guarantees enough loading space as a commercial vehicle.
