Suzuki launched the new compact SUV Escudo on October 15, 2015. This article will feature the all-new Escudo that has a sporty design unique to traditional Suzuki SUVs, and has greatly improved in terms of drivability, safety and environmental performance.

The all-new Escudo is categorized in between a crossover and a genuine off-road vehicle. It guarantees an ample interior and luggage space despite its compact body size. This SUV inherited the high driving performance that were cultivated in the Jimny and the existing Escudo models.

Its plated front grille and exclusive 17-inch metal-coated wheels make for a stronger appearance, and as for its interior part, it is outfitted with silver garnish and seats covered with suede material, thus it has a more sporty and high-quality interior space. As for the body size, it has an overall length of 4,175mm, an overall width of 1,775mm, and an overall height of 1,610mm. Its wheelbase is 2,500mm.

As for its body color, it is added with the new colors Atlantis Turquoise, and Pearl Metallic Black Two-toned Roof. Moreover, it also adopts newly-equipped LED headlamps, and a collision avoidance system Radar Brake Support II, which is enhanced with a magnified operation speed limit and brake assistive functions.

The all-new Escudo will be exhibited at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show, which will kickoff on October 29, 2015.
