2015 Tokyo Motor Show: Subaru to use full-sized screens to create theatrical experience

Fuji Heavy Industries will hold a theater-style booth with full-sized screens at Tokyo Big Sight from October 30 to November 8 for the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

The company will use a total of five screens at its Subaru Life Theater booth. The theme is “New Subaru Story” it it’s based on the keywords “peace of mind” and “fun.” Rather than introducing the features and capabilities of its models, the films will introduce basic scenes showcasing the fun of driving. It’s hoped that they will highlight the active lifestyle of Subaru’s drivers and open a new chapter in the brand’s story.

Subaru says the idea is to present to motor show visitors a fun and exciting theatrical experience that conveys Subaru’s six points of view, “Driving,” “Safety,” “Challenge,” “Quality Life,” Smile,” and “Partnership.”

Fuji Heavy Industries says that the booth will serve as a next-generation stage at the Motor Show to show its latest technology and features, including better stability through compact design and low center of weight, a horizontally opposed engine that combines environmental efficiency with driving performance, excellent safety features, Symmetrical AWD, the EyeSight system for a safer and more comfortable drive, and more.
