Fuji Heavy Industries will conduct a world premiere for the VIZIV Future Concept and the Impreza 5-Door Concept at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015 to be held from October 30 to November 8.
The booth theme this year is “New Subaru Story.” Subaru wants to broaden their customer’s world by manufacturing cars that are enjoyable and give peace of mind, thereby providing an opportunity for them to have a new story. Subaru Life Theater will use five large screens to depict the worldview of “enjoyment” and “peace of mind” that Subaru provides.
The Subaru VIZIV Future Concept, which will be making a world debut at the show, is an SUV concept model that embodies Subaru’s future vision in manufacturing cars. Along with a design that motivates you to become active, this car gives a glimpse of the next-generation technologies that provide safe and enjoyable driving, such as automatic driving technologies Eyesight and V2X (Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure safety technology), and a power unit combining a downsized turbo engine with a hybrid system.
Positioned to be the first next-generation model of Subaru, the Impreza 5-Door Concept will also be making its world premiere at the show. Adopting the “Dynamic and Solid” theme as its core, the Impreza 5-Door Concept offers a value that surpasses its class, from its sportiness that heightens the anticipation of driving which is essential to a Subaru design, to features that provide a stronger sense of innovation and security.
Other exhibits include the following: the special editions of the WRX S4 and the Legacy B4; the SporVita with high-quality interior space; the S207, a complete car based on the WRX STI; and the all-new versions of the Forester and the XV.
