2015 Jakarta Motor Show: Daihatsu debuts a couple of crossover concepts in Indonesia

Daihatsu’s Indonesian subsidiary, Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) unveiled two concept cars at the 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), which began on August 20.

The two prototypes were the FX Concept and the FT Concept. The FX Concept is a FF-based crossover model featuring Daihatsu’s compact car technology that offers toughness for off-roads as well as a dynamic and state-of-the-art design.

The FT Concept is a true FR sport utility vehicle that was developed to become ADM’s top-of-the-line model. It offers a spacious interior that can easily seat up to seven passengers along with a dynamic and stylishly renewed design.

On August 20, ADM also showcased its updated 7-seater MPV, the Xenia. In addition to these models, Daihatsu is exhibiting a newly developed platform loaded with an all-new engine to promote its evolving fuel efficiency and basic performance to consumers.
