The all-new Toyota Avanza

Toyota launches upgraded and redesigned Avanza minivan

On August 17, Toyota Motor Corporation launched the all-new Avanza minivan in Indonesia.

The Avanza is a compact minivan with three rows of seating for seven passengers that was launched back in 2003 as part of Toyota’s IMV project for developing countries. Toyota developed the Avanza together with Daihatsu with the latter’s version named the Xenia.

The Avanza was redesigned into its second-generation model in fall 2011. Four years after its debut, the second-gen Avanza has undergone its first significant makeover.

The updated Avanza features newly designed headlights, grille, and bumper for a renewed look. Toyota has established significant design changes to its rear as well with new taillights, tailgate, and rear bumper.
