Infiniti to release all-new Q60 in the US next summer

On August 7, Infiniti revealed the US release date for its all-new Q60 (the Nissan Skyline Coupe, in Japan). Nissan’s luxury brand announced that the new Q60 will be released in the US between the summer and fall of 2016.

Infiniti unveiled its Q60 Concept earlier this year at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. It offered a preview of what to expect for their new Q60.

The Q60 Concept featured an even more vibrant design than the current Q60. The details on its front end and other areas were based on the Q80 Inspiration, a concept showcased at the Mondial de l’Automobile (Paris Motor Show) in September 2014.

The exterior measured at 4,690 x 1,865 x 1,370mm (length x width x height). The interior featured exquisite material such as handmade leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber. The legroom at the back was expanded from the current model, establishing it as a true 2+2 coupe.

It was loaded with a direct-injected twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine that combines outstanding performance with environmental efficiency.

Based on the Q60 Concept, the all-new Q60 will be released as the 2017 model for the US market next year.
