On August 7, Infiniti announced that it will unveil their updated QX60 at the 2016 North American International Auto Show next January in the US.
The QX60 was launched at the New York International Auto Show in the spring of 2013. In December 2012, Infiniti announced a new naming system for its lineup, which attached a “Q†label to all of its models. As a result, their seven-passenger luxury crossover, the JX was renamed to the QX60.
To accompany the name change, Infiniti also established its first hybrid model for the QX60. Infiniti’s Direct Response Hybrid system consists of a pair of clutches connected to a single motor called Dual Clutch Control.
Three years after its debut, next year’s North American International Auto Show will feature the first fully remodeled QX60. Infiniti has yet to reveal any details including its images for this updated model as of this time.
The new Infiniti QX60 will be released as its 2016 model for the US market next spring.
