Toyota Porte’s and Spade’s new engine achieves 22.2km/liter low fuel consumption

Toyota Motor Corporation has made minor improvements to its Porte and Spade and added special edition vehicles to both models. These models went on sale on July 1.

In this minor improvement, Toyota equipped the 1.5 liter engine vehicle (2WD) with the new 2NR-FKE, a high thermal efficiency and low fuel consumption engine. The idling stop function is standarly equipped to achieve 22.2km/liter (JC08 mode) low fuel consumption. As a result, it meets the FY 2020 Fuel Economy Standard. Having acquired the certificate of the 2005 Gas Emission Standards 75% Reduction, the vehicle is entitled to the eco-car tax reduction.

Furthermore, they changed the Porte’s radiator grille color to gray metallic. They changed the fromage-colored surface of the instrument panel and the door trim to pink. In addition, they changed the seat color and pattern to improve its texture.

The Spade adopts a silver front grille. They changed the color of the center cluster panel, seat upholstery, and pattern, thus giving a stylish feel in the interior.

Furthermore, they added a deck side grip, a luggage room lamp, a multi-box with lighting, a glove box at the passenger seat, ceiling speakers, a vanity mirror with ceiling lights to both models to improve convenience and comfort.

It costs from 1,635,709 yen to 2,012,727 yen.

The Toyota Porte A La Mode de and Spade F Queen special edition models, which are released at the same time, are based on the F grade and are specially equipped with a newly-developed washable seat cover. Through the zipper on cover seat, it can easily be removed. It has been made possible for you to keep the interior clean since it can be washed repeatedly. Furthermore, a smart entry package and super UV cut package will be added as standard equipments on both vehicles to add attractive options.

The 2WD system of both models costs 1,884,109 yen and the 4WD costs 2,035,309 yen.
