Photo Feature: Honda Shuttle Release – Hybrid model offers 34km/liter of fuel-efficiency and expanded luggage space

On May 15, Honda Motor Company released their all-new Shuttle. This new compact station wagon succeeds the Fit Shuttle, which was launched back in 2011.

The engine comes available in either a 1.5-liter hybrid or a 1.5-liter gasoline system. The hybrid engine generates 137ps of maximum output and offers 34.0km/liter of fuel-efficiency (JC08 mode).

The exterior measures at 4,400 x 1,695 x 1,545mm (length x width x height) and the wheelbase is 2,530mm long, classifying the Shuttle in the 5-number size category. Moreover, the minimum turning radius is 4.9m. As for the luggage space, it has been widened from 129cm on the previous model to 151cm, expanding the luggage capacity from 517 liters to 570 liters. The new Shuttle also features a flat floor when the rear seats are folded down for additional space and enhanced convenience.

The all-new Shuttle Hybrid is priced from 1,990,000 yen to 2,542,000 yen.
