Honda N-Box Slash

Honda N-Box Slash Review: “It’s not just about its facade; its maneuverability surpasses general kei cars” by Hiroshi Matsushita

When we talk about the N-Box Slash, you would probably just think of it as a car that has a cut roof style. But that is a mistake. If you drive the N-Box Slash, you will realize that it is an incomparably great car that exceeds the general standard of kei cars. This car is truly amazing.

Even before driving it, you will realize the greatness of the N-Box Slash the moment you get in the car. It has a sound-deadening kit for its audio components, thus it will isolate you from the noise outside once you close its door. It will seem like you are riding a luxury car.

The degree of silence does not change even when you start driving. You won’t even hear the sound of its engine; thus, you can enjoy a very silent and pleasant driving. As it is very particular about silence, this car equipped with a sound mapping system establishes an excellent sound space as a running audio room.

The maneuverability of this model equipped with turbo engine is considerably amazing. Its roof was trimmed, and its body has become lighter so it is easy to maneuver. Moreover, it has an excellent handling stability. Its gravitational height has become shorter, and the rolling risk has decreased, thus it still has a very stable maneuverability even when you drive around corners. I can say that it tops kei cars in terms of the balance of its riding feel and handling stability.

Besides, its charms include the equipment of an electric parking brake and an interior with various themes. To sum it up, N-Box Slash is a very amazing car.

The problem is its price. Well-made cars are expected to be absolutely expensive. The estimated price for the model with turbo engine including other options exceeds 2,000,000 yen.

I think that older customers shifting from bigger to lighter cars would precisely be engrossed in this car; however, it will probably be difficult to please younger customers with this model.
