On April 16, Fuji Heavy Industries will release their all-new Exiga Crossover 7.
This new 7-seater SUV is the production version of the Crossover 7 Concept　featured at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The Exiga Crossover 7 combines the elements of a stylish and true SUV for its interior and exterior, all-weather AWD performance, and the spaciousness to accommodate up to seven passengers.
With exterior dimensions of 4,780 x 1,800 x 1,670mm (total length x total width x total height), Subaru has taken into consideration its effectiveness in the city and use of multi-story parking lots.
The exterior features a SUV-like design with bumpers and wheel arches on the front and back, side sill garnish cladding, a large front grille and roof rails, and exclusive 17-inch aluminum wheels. In addition, it comes with LED accessory liners and metallic parts throughout the vehicle for enhanced quality.
As for the interior, the Exiga Crossover 7 is decorated mainly with tan coloring, and offers refined elegance and relaxation through its leather and piano black finish.
Subaru has also established a new suspension system, which provides this urbanized SUV with an adequate ground clearance of 170mm. At the same time, the Exiga Crossover 7 offers exceptional handling and comfort despite its height.
The engine is a 2.5-liter horizontally opposed 4-cylinder unit that generates 173ps of maximum output. It’s combined to a Lineartronic CVT system for outstanding performance and fuel efficiency of 13.2km/liter (JC08 mode).
As for its safety features, it comes standardized with Subaru’s EyeSight technology (version 2), SRS side airbags, and SRS curtain airbags for the third row of seating.
The Exiga Crossover 7 comes available in five colors including Crystal White/Pearl, Platinum Gray/Metallic, Dark Blue/Pearl, Crystal Black/Silica, and Tungsten Metallic, at a price of 2,754,000 yen.
