On April 8, Toyota Motor Corporation released their updated 86. For this minor adjustment, Toyota has improved its rigidity by increasing the thickness of the front reinforcement bar and upper back panel on the rear. These changes have enhanced the quality of its handling and comfort.

Combined with improvements to its body rigidity, Toyota has updated the electric power steering system. Through upgrades to its assist operation, the 86 offers a refreshing and sheer feel for the road.

For the interior, a new Tan Color Mix has been established for the GT Limited. The steering wheel and door trims feature this tan color with silver stitching, and the seats come with a combination of tan colored genuine leather and Alcantara for enhanced stylishness.

The GT and GT Limited have been upgraded with brighter silver coloring for the interior, updated 8-speaker system, and addition of cruise control. As for its exterior colors, Galaxy Blue and Lightning Red have been modified to Azurite Blue and Pure Red.
