Mitsubishi's all-new L200

Geneva Motor Show 2015: Mitsubishi to debut their all-new L200, the European version of the new Triton

On February 17, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that it will unveil their all-new L200 at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show next month in Switzerland.

The L200 is Mitsubishi’s top-of-the-line one-ton pickup truck for the European market. Last fall in Thailand, Mitsubishi launched their all-new Triton after undergoing its first model change in nine years. The all-new L200 is the European version of this new Triton.

Equipped with a new 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder MIVEC turbo diesel engine (4N15), this fifth-generation L200 offers two types of tuning. The base model produces 154ps of maximum output and 38.7kgm of maximum torque, while its more powerful version delivers 181ps of maximum output and 43.8kgm of maximum torque. Both models are available with 6-speed manual transmission.

The new L200 also offers good environmental performance, an important feature for the European market. Its CO2 emissions have been “improved by 17% from the previous model” to 169g/km.
