During the late 1960s and early 70s, there was a craze for bicycles that were equipped with flashing lights and blinkers. It should be well known to anyone in his or her late 40s and up. I remember they were so cool during my childhood.
As time passed by, electric lights were replaced by LEDs. What’s truly exciting is the fact that the next-generation Lexus RX, set for launch this April, will become the first domestic car with flashing lights and blinkers.
Based on the images of the new RX, it looks like the headlights have been designed with a sharper extension to the sides compared to its current model. Lexus has also changed its spindle grille from a mesh style to fin.
The side view shows that its wheelbase could be slightly longer than the current RX. Above all, the most exciting part is its 3-row layout with seating for seven passengers.
As for its power unit, a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine and an updated 3.5-liter V6 hybrid system will be available.
