Toyota Motor Corporation launched the redesigned luxury minivan Alphard on January 26th. The new Alphard was developed with the concept of a ‘roomy and luxurious saloon space’. It features a comfortable ride, an exceptional handling stability, and a roomy interior.
For the seat configuration, the front passenger seat is capable of a maximum long slide of 1,160mm with the use of the seat rail. To give passengers roomy comfort, both the hybrid and the luxury-class grade, which are both mounted with 3.5-liter gasoline engines, are equipped with passenger-side four-way power adjustable seats and power ottoman (footrest).
Furthermore, the second row seats of the luxury-class grade are equipped with executive power seats. The seats’ shape is reminiscent of premium airline seats. The seats are reclinable, the ottoman can be electrically adjusted, and the angle of the large headrest can be adjusted. They are also furnished with cup holders.
For the cabin dimensions, the length, width and height of the gasoline model equipped with a 3.5-liter engine are 3210mm, 1600mm and 1400mm respectively.
