On January 13 at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, American Honda announced that their next-generation Ridgeline will be released in 2016.
The Ridgeline is an exclusive pickup truck for the North American market designed and engineered at Honda R&D Americas facilities in Raymond, Ohio. They are currently assembled at Hondaâ€™s plant in Lincoln, Alabama.
The Ridgeline was released in March 2005 and is approaching its 10-year anniversary. Honda sold 13,389 units in the US last year, a 24.5% decline from the year before.
American Honda said, â€œThe next Ridgeline will play an important role in strengthening Hondaâ€™s lineup of light trucksâ€.
