The 16GT Four is based on the Juke Nismo RS. They gave the 1.6-liter direct-injection turbo engine an exclusive ECU setting. In addition, they improved the durability of the connecting rod bearings to sustain a strong torque even in a high rpm. Furthermore, the paddle shift was combined with the newly equipped 8-speed manual transmission with X-tronic CVT. This allows its maximum output to increase from 190ps up to 214ps, and maximum torque from 240Nm up to 250Nm.
They also expanded the diameter of the front brake rotor and used ventilated discs in the rear. They further enhanced the braking feeling at the same time as improving the caliper performance and fading resistance of the brake pad. In addition, the caliper was given a red coating that symbolizes the Nismo RS.
Next is the expansion of the exclusive aluminum wheels to 18-inch. The suspension was subjected to tuning to achieve the same quality driving performance in any kind of road situation. The torque vector performance of the All Mode 4X4 has an optimized torque distribution with the improvement of the engine output together with its cornering performance.
In addition, they added reinforcements, to greatly improve it torsional rigidity, to the body parts from its vehicle assembly as a factory tuning, something unique to finished vehicles. With this, it achieved a quick handling and a stable running performance even during the high-speed driving. Similar to the transmission, Iits biggest benefit is the retrofit tuning unique to the Juke Nismo RS that cannot be obtained by others.
