Autech, which does Nissan’s custom and completed cars, displayed the Elgrand Rider, a custom model of the Elgrand luxury minivan. The custom model has more than just a new interior paint job for the interior. It’s been fully customized to maximize performance.
The official name of the car on display is the Elgrand Rider High Performance Spec Black Line. Based on the 350 Highway Star, it’s equipped with chrome parts that are reminiscent of a motorcycle rider. The interior also has black for the genuine leather seats and finish, giving it a luxury feel.
But what’s new isn’t just the look of the exterior and interior. Another major point is its improvements in driving performance. It has specially made 19 inch aluminum wheel Michelin Primacy 3ST tires and specially tuned suspension. The body is equipped with a front and rear cross stay and Yamaha’s Performance Damper. For the engine, there’s a combined tuning computer and exhaust system.
It has the luxury-grade price tag of 6,004,800 yen.
