On January 13, Lexus launched their GS F at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in the US.
The Lexus GS F is equipped with a direct-injected 5.0-liter V8 2UR-GSE naturally aspirated gasoline engine, the same power train as the RC F. The North American model produces 473ps/7,100rpm of maximum output and 53.7kgm/4,800-5,600rpm of maximum torque. It features an 8-speed SPDS transmission, which can change speeds in as little as 0.1 seconds at manual position.
Compared to its Lexus GS base model, the GS F presents enhanced cooling and aerodynamic performance due to its large front spindle grille and large air ducts, lower grille molding made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer, and rear spoiler. It also comes equipped with specially designed stacked quad exhaust diffusers and 19-inch aluminum wheels with 255/35R19 tires on the front and 275/35R19 tires at the back.
