Copen the second chapter by Custom Garage Spice from Naruta City Chiba Prefecture

2015 Tokyo Auto Salon: The first generation Copen modified into a Porsche, Mini, and Lamborghini

The customized cars based on the first generation Daihatsu Copen were displayed by their respective companies at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon. The respective models include a Lamborghini style with a gull wing, a mini style with a tail gate, a Porsche style which recalls the form of a speedster; they are generating lots of attention.

The 356 Speedster comes from the winner of the Excellence Award at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon Ducks Garden(Hokota City Ibaraki Prefecture); they came up with the kei car frame with the Porsche 356 Speedster motif. “It has the same fully automatic opening and closing mechanism and power efficiency; and it is a car that is filled with nostalgic hobby-like components”, according to the said company. The body kit cost 1.2 million yen(including painting and installation fees).

Esqueleto of Gotemba City Shizuoka Prefecture came up with the Copen Wagon that comes with a tailgate , the model seems to recall the style of the mini. The long roof connected to the tailgate, and the quarter glass are made with an innovative image in mind. A high-mounted stop lamp and rear glass are utilizing the existing OEM accessories. This Copen Wagon Kit costs 270,000 yen.

At the other end of the spectrum, the gull wing equipped Copen is also giving the other entries a run for their money. Custom Garage Spice from Narita City Chiba Prefecture came up with Copen the second chapter. It highlights the VERTICAL LAMBO DOORS STYLE gull-wing kit of NRF(Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture).
The white and purple-decorated interior is installed with seats from GRACE(Setsu City Osaka) and the surrounding area of its meter comes with an impressive flocked coating.
